In short
AyahSync has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. The recitation the app hears is processed on your phone and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Microphone
The app uses the microphone only while you are on the listening screen. The audio is turned into text by a speech-recognition model that runs on your phone, compared with the Qur'an text stored in the app, and discarded within seconds. No audio and no recognized text ever leaves your device.
Internet
The app needs the internet once: the first time you tap Listen it downloads the speech-recognition model (from Hugging Face). Like any web server, Hugging Face receives your IP address for that download, under its own privacy policy. After that the app works offline and makes no other network requests.
Data stored on your phone
Your language choice and the downloaded speech model are stored on your phone only. Deleting the app deletes them.
Data we collect
None. We do not collect, sell or share personal data, and the app contains no advertising or tracking code.
This website
This website has no cookies and no analytics. It is served by Cloudflare and loads fonts from Google Fonts; both receive your IP address to deliver the page, under their own privacy policies.
Children
AyahSync is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
